MANUELA KRISTIN GÃœNTHER
Managing Director & Founder || Senior Impact Evaluation Consultant
Manuela brings 10+ years of experience as a Development Economist, focusing on mixed-method impact evaluations, data collection and analysis, and applied micro-econometrics to inform evidence-based policy-making. Her international work experience spans Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Pacific.
As a former ODI Fellow, she worked with Central Banks and Governments in India, South Africa, and Fiji as part of a collaboration with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where she combined research with applied policy work to drive evidence-based policymaking.
As a consultant, she has led and implemented (impact) evaluation and research studies with various GIZ initiatives, Fairtrade, and DEval across different thematic areas such as financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, climate change adaptation, agriculture, and migration and diaspora
She is a PhD candidate in Economics, holds an MSc in Economic Development, both at the University of Glasgow, and has a Graduate Diploma in Quantitative Economics from the University of Birkbeck, London (both with distinction). She has business proficiency in English, Spanish, Dutch and German, and a good command of French.
Manuela previously built up and led the MEL department at a partner company - Scio Network - and is excited to now materialise her vision as Managing Director at ImpactLoop.
