Heru is a sustainability and public policy professional with more than 10 years of experience. Heru has a master’s in International Affairs from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University, Washington, DC and a BA in International Relations from the University Gadjah Mada. He has widespread experience in collecting qualitative and quantitative data and implementing research projects for clients such as global coffee roasters, GIZ, and Fairtrade International.
Heru is also a coffee sector expert. He founded Kehulu Coffee, a social enterprise that connects smallholder Indonesian coffee farmers to the market of high-quality sustainable coffee.
