ERICK NGOGA

Evaluation and Research Consultant

Erick Ngoga is a dedicated freelancer with a passion for promoting quality education. He has a background in social work, eight years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and research, and a strong background in assessing learning outcomes in emergencies. Erick has worked on various education projects in Niger and Mali under regular contracts.

He has also consulted for various organisations on education projects, including the Save the Children DR Congo, the Norwegian Refugee Council in DR Congo and Tanzania, the International Rescue Committee in Mali and the United Republic of Tanzania, and the Mokoro Limited in Burundi. He provided services ranging from training to implementing comprehensive assessments.

Erick was actively involved in solving learning outcomes data quality issues in emergency situations, and played a key role in developing and piloting an enumerator observation tool, as well as a methodology for observers.

Erick finds inspiration to work towards better education for all children in his long life as a refugee. He finds pleasure in long walks in nature.
