AHMAD GHANI
Social Research and Data Mining Expert
Mr. Ahmad Ghani is a social research and data mining expert with over 17 years of experience in data collection, analysis, and integration for social and development projects, including the USAID Community Cohesion Initiative and the Afghanistan Municipal Strengthening Program. He recently served as Deputy M&E Manager for the $57-million USAID SWIM Project, where he also acted as the Acting DCOP during the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating his management skills under challenging conditions. He is proficient in planning, monitoring, and reporting on M&E initiatives, training staff, and ensuring high-quality data collection.

Mr. Ghani has developed M&E systems like SWIM’s web-based mobile data collection app and AMELP, effectively capturing program data, tracking indicators, and supporting continuous project improvement. He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Peshawar University.
